I want to ask ... why don't ARTVPS do not preparing shaders for the customers using their devices. It's pretty difficult to make own, but could be very usefull to have some shaders library (progressed) on the site adapted to the Pure devices...
I know about renderman.org and others, but didn't find there something really usefull (like hair shaders, etc)

Best regards,
Slava

That would certainly add great value to their product. Using Renderman limits them in some respects, I believe, from full support for third-party plugins for a lot of fun things. If the plugin needs to do it's own rendering for it's objects, like for hair, then PURE can't support it. If it creates normal geometry, and uses normal-style bitmaps and materials, then it will support it.

Support of Renderman micro-polygons and displacements would be nice. Renderman's instancing of particle system objects would reduce particle system overhead considerably, it would seem.
