Latest ARTVPS software lights the way for architectural designArchitects and designers wanting to create photorealistic interior images for conceptual drawings, projects and portfolios can do so with RenderPipe® AV5.5, the latest software release from ARTVPS. An industry leader in advanced rendering technology and 3D visualisation expertise, ARTVPS’ RenderPipe® software enables users to create photorealistic images on their PCs and MACs by utilising the very best in ray-tracing technology. RenderPipe® AV5.5 provides a range of improved lighting features and post process image controls. These additional features enable designers to produce natural lighting effects and have greater control over the final images they create. Brian Tyler, CEO at ARTVPS said: “The latest version of RenderPipe® includes an array of new and improved lighting features designed to provide users with an enhanced rendering experience. As 2006 progresses, we plan to develop our rendering technologies further to ensure our customers have access to premium solutions for the production of photorealistic images.” Commenting on functionality and key benefits Neil Evans, Company Director at e3D interactive said: “The new lighting solutions incorporated within AV5.5 are what e3Di, as an architectural visualisation company, has been waiting for and has made creating photorealistic interior visuals and animations much easier. The new box light creates amazing light distribution within rooms, and combined with the redesigned HDR skylight, we are able to render noise-free images in minutes.” The latest version of RenderPipe® now includes linear area light fall off and BoxLight features to enable users to achieve ambient lighting effects eliminating light bleaching and whitening of objects close to the light source. The established HDR Skylight feature has also been improved to provide renderers with an easier to use interface in both 3dsmax and Maya programmes. An additional light manipulator tool provides RenderPipe® AV5.5 users with greater control over positioning and orientation of the lighting effect and reduces the time it takes to set to up a HDR scene. RenderPipe® AV5.5 also incorporates a wealth of new image control features to improve post-production. Shadows can now be rendered as a separate layer, providing the user with greater composition and editing flexibility to achieve truly realistic results. The software also provides users with the possibility to render images in 32-bit floating point TIF and 16-bit floating point OpenEXR output formats. Utilising these output formats, users are able to make alterations and will benefit from additional control and manipulation of the rendered image during post production. Users of 3dsmax will also see additional benefits with the incorporation of the RPMetallicShiny feature into the 3dsmax interface to allow easy combination with additional rendering materials. RenderPipe® AV5.5 is supported by ARTVPS RenderServer and RenderDrive technology and can be used with 3dsmax and Maya programmes For further information on RenderPipe® AV5.5 visit: http://www.artvps.com/page/98/av55.htm Posted by ARTVPS Monday, August 14, 2006 (15:30:57)
