Taylor James get “REAL” with the launch of their new 3D CGI Division
London 12th October 2006 - Creative retouchers, Taylor James announce the launch of a new division offering CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) related services to their clients, using RenderDrives.

Taylor James is a specialist hi-end photographic retouchers and are recognised as global leaders in their field. The company has a strong re*****tion within the advertising and photographic industries for producing high quality retouching with creative flair and meticulous attention to realism.

The company’s aim has always been to produce creatively stunning imagery, but more importantly, convincing imagery. Producing such high quality is ultimately a result of their ability to dissect and interpret the fundamentals of a photograph. This approach is governed by such principles as perspectives, lighting, angles and scale and is very much a 3-dimensional way of thinking.

Taylor James are officially launching their new CGI Division on 12th October 2006 following 12 months of extensive development. They have introduced the latest HDRi imaging techniques and hardware based ray traced rendering and integrated it with their key discipline of hi-end photographic retouching. This unique combination is the basis for Taylor James’ new service, ‘REALWorld Rendering™’. It offers massive creative freedom and flexibility for advertising agencies and photographers, but it also requires a disciplined approach to achieve truly photographic and realistic results.

This is why Taylor James saw a specific need to define working procedures and develop a structured workflow that allows Agencies and Photographers to gain a clear understanding of the processes involved and how they can confidently control and manage a CGI production within today’s commercial bounds.

CGI can supplement a photographic shoot providing endless possibilities. Photographers and creatives are able to direct virtual set creation or model making to supplement their traditional photography. It can be used to allow access to locations which have typically been inaccessible or even launch a product as soon as the concept designs are finalized.
